Glan-y-Wern – beautiful holiday cottage in Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, North Wales
Glan-y-Wern is a spacious self catering holiday cottage in the beautiful village of Llanarmon DC in North Wales. Llanarmon is just over the hill from Llangollen in the Ceiriog Valley - one of North Wales best kept secrets.
We have fantastic walks straight from the door, two fantastic dining pubs within a two minute walk, lots of cycling, mountain biking and outdoor activities close by. The area is also a wonderful place for bird and wildlife watching.
The cottage sleeps four people, has two bathrooms, a stylish kitchen diner, lounge with log burner, off road parking, enclosed gardens and bike storage. Glan-y-Wern is a traditional Welsh holiday cottage and has been renovated to a high standard. We have two young children ourselves, so have made the cottage really child friendly.

Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog is a wonderful holiday destination for exploring North Wales. The popular 
tourist towns of Llangollen, Bala and Betws-y-Coed are a short drive away. Or you can easily reach the Snowdonia National Park, the Clwydian range or the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The beautiful beaches in Mid Wales are around 1.5h drive.
The area is a great location for mountain biking (we are mountain bikers ourselves so can recommend some great riding routes). Coed Llandegla, Coed y Brenin, Penmachno and Revolution Bike Park are easily reached by car. There are also rides straight from the door in the Ceiriog Valley. Road cyclists will also find some beautiful riding in the area.
